Prime Radiant

Two renames and a new mount: evener (formerly serf), ledger's move to chit, and automatic-sshfs

Two unrelated renames collided this week, so it’s worth naming them up front so they don’t get tangled in the reading: prime-radiant-inc/serf is now prime-radiant-inc/evener — a full GitHub repo rename, same non-interactive coding agent covered in past posts as “serf,” wearing its new name from here on. Separately, the ledger tool is becoming chit at the packaging and binary layer — the GitHub repo is still named ledger, but the Homebrew formula, release assets, and command surface all now say chit. Around those two, automatic-sshfs went public — built in large part by the (recently renamed) evener agent working alongside its owner — and winpepper cut an outside-contributed alpha. This week is still open: the data below runs through midday Friday, not the full calendar week.

prime-radiant-inc/evener

A coding agent: give it a prompt and it reads, writes, runs commands, and searches code in a loop until the work is done, using native tool-calling across OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google models.

872 commits 132 PRs +338,788 −204,254

By far the highest-volume repo this week, even without a release: the serf → evener rename swept the entire codebase — Go module path, identifiers, cmd/ directories, the frontend package and manifest, markdown docs. Several of the largest diffs this week are this mechanical rename, not net-new feature lines. Underneath it: a Makefile decomposition into self-documenting per-family targets, an inline-subagent widget redesign, transcript-autoscroll fixes, an OpenAI Responses effort-ladder catalog resolution, a hub-frontend sidebar chrome pass, and a string of issue closures. Every commit and every sampled merged PR this week resolves to Jesse Vincent as author and merger, plus routine dependency bumps — no outside PR authors turned up in a spot-check across the range.

prime-radiant-inc/superpowers-evals

Behavioral eval lab (Quorum) for the superpowers project that drives real coding-agent CLIs through a QA agent and grades them on workflow compliance.

112 commits +61,188 −7,517

Two threads: an env-credential-scoping arc (scoped container leases, immutable rollback, canonical auth-type validation, several review-driven fix rounds) and a “quorum campaign platform” spec that went through an adversarial multi-reviewer round before an expected-check manifest extractor and multiset-compare feature landed on top of it.

prime-radiant-inc/homebrew-tap

Homebrew tap for Prime Radiant tools, including formulae for llm-proxy and beeper-message-sync.

3 commits +44 −44

Retired the ledger formula in favor of chit — the name collision with homebrew-core’s ledger-cli finally forcing the issue — tying directly into the rename above. The release-automation bot picked up ledger’s last release under the old name and chit’s first release under the new one.

prime-radiant-inc/ledger-memory

Ledger-backed persistent memory plugin for Claude Code.

1 commit +23 −9

One commit, itself a small release, whose whole content is following the ledger → chit rename: binary resolution now prefers chit with a ledger fallback, and the raw-write guard was extended to deny both binary names.

prime-radiant-inc/teststrip

macOS photo culling app — catalog-first, non-destructive, AI-assisted. Early development; not ready for use.

7 commits +5,545 −3,330

A debt-cull pass closing out a batch of tracked issues: import-test flakiness, a stack-partition cache, saved-search wording, a dead timelineDays field, a test-fixture consolidation into one shared support file, a persistence hazard fix, and a view-modifier-chain refactor.

prime-radiant-inc/shipped

A weekly log of what Prime Radiant and obra shipped.

3 commits +4,073 −14

Self-referential this week: backfill work landed for earlier historical weeks, plus a fix for a week-total LOC leak where the week-summary widget was summing suppressed cells it should have excluded.

obra/lace

A lightweight agentic coding environment.

5 commits 5 PRs +2,287 −196

Five merged PRs, all internally ticket-tagged: pinning what bare model aliases and defaults mean in the catalog, sizing the preserved compaction tail to a model’s real context window, letting an over-context-window session compact itself back out, marking which restart interrupted a job so the job list stays readable, and a lint-breaking unused-import cleanup.

The remaining active repo — claude-plugin-stats — had only bot-driven activity this week (the daily install-stats scrape and chart rebuild), with no human commits.
